The Rainbow Roots blend has been specially created for children aged 2 years old plus. After extensive research, we found 2 to be the best age to start introducing organic superfood blends to diets as it tends to be when most children have finished their weaning journey and the fussy toddler stage kicks in. The blend has been created my expert nutritionists and is gentle enough to be used on very little children, but can also be enjoyed by the whole family, just adjust the serving size accordingly. 

The Rainbow Roots blend is made up or plant protein, organic fruit and veggies and pre and pro biotics. It is a certified vegan formula and free from nuts, dairy, and gluten. 

No. This is a whole food supplement in powder form which is recommended to be given as part of a balanced diet to help increase nutrients through whole foods. Yes absolutely, the ingredients used provide children with a great variety of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants but through natural whole food form. It also provides daily pre and pro-biotics. Unless your child has been recommended by a doctor to take a specific vitamin or mineral to help a deficiency then healthy children really don’t need to be taking a daily multivitamin. They can get everything they need through a varied and balanced diet. 

The tastiest way to enjoy Rainbow Roots blend is to add the recommended daily amount to your milk of choice. We have avoided adding any emulsifiers to the product to ensure it is natural, so sometimes the powder can separate. To avoid separation, we recommend stirring slowly whilst adding your milk and using a whisk, then drink straight away. The blend also tastes great when added to your favourite smoothie and helps to supercharge it with over 20 organic fruits and vegetables in just one scoop.

Yes 100%, this recipe was inspired by my own very picky little eaters and wanting to get more fruits and vegetables into their diet. We specifically chose chocolate and vanilla as the flavours for this blend as find most children enjoy these flavours and they can easily be added to milks or smoothies providing a soft, subtle taste and not too overpowering or overly sweet. 

Yes 100%, we have worked with leading nutritionists and understand the importance of helping neuro diverse children eat more vegetables and fruits which can have a really positive impact on symptoms. We also understand neuro diverse children can avoid fruit and veg as they do not like the texture which is why this special blend in powder form is great way to help them get their daily nutrients as it can easily be blended and there are no lumps. 

Our founder Lucie spent months sourcing the right manufacture to partner with as it was vital that they sourced the best of the best ingredients, their products were organic, they had soil association and green credentials. We are over the moon happy with the family run manufacturer we use, who is based in the UK. 

Yes, again this was a top priority for our founder Lucie to make sure all products sold have had third party tests carried out. Lots of brands out there do not do this as it is a big extra expense, but it really is so important to make sure you know there are no heavy metals or GMO’s in the blend. Earthstarz work with a third party provider to carry out tests on nutritional values, to check and ensure the product is gluten and dairy free and contains no heavy metals.
